So much has happened, that I wouldn't even know where to begin.
Everything I've ever believed in has fallen apart.
And yet, somehow, from the ashes...a small, weak cry.
We're reborn.
And we're trying to build again.

The new trend seems to be the anonymous post. The post where you ask people to post whatever they want. Anonymously or otherwise. Once, twice. More if they want.
A story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love, an opinion, a critique...
And then to copy this thread and post it in your own journal, continuing the cycle. So that people can be free to speak for once. Free to say what they'd like. Free to speak openly, just once. ...and maybe someone is listening....
So post. Post....Reply to posts.
And maybe someone new will find solace in anonymity....in the refusal to sign their name....in a place where you're allowed to say anything.

A friend of mine just gave me this link to another journal that had the following entry...
i just came across this physics problem in my book:
21. A hockey puck, mass 0.115 kg, moving at 35.0 m/s, strikes an octopus thrown onto the ice by a fan. The octopus has a mass of 0.265 kg. The puck and octopus slide off together. Find their velocity.
what...
..the fuck is wrong with these people?
Why didn't *my* mathbooks ever have anything that rad??
Anyway, what would you write for the answer?
My friend said she'd put "What the hell is an octopus doing at a hockey game?!"
I think I'd put: "What color was the octopus? A black octopus might have a higher light density and therefore have a different velocity."

I watched Fire beat Legend of Mana this morning.
One of the lines in it seemed so perfect to me that I thought I should put it up here.
"We're only here because we like staying here."
It's the truth.
Some of us complain a lot about things, but if we really wanted to, I think all of us really could just leave...
...find another place to be...
But...we don't.
Another line that is staying with me was at the beginning of the end, the Sproutlings text reads: "Yep. All of us plants are connected by our roots. We may look different, but we're really all the same." (Or something similar. That's not an exact quote....)
I'm thinking about asking my brother to stay here with me for a while...
Porcelain? What do you think?
I know Akusou doesn't agree...but...maybe if I can get him to stay here, instead of me having to go to him.....
